How it works
- Fixed quote. Tell me how many mailboxes you have and where your email is now. You get a price before anything starts.
- Set up and copy. I set up the new accounts and copy your existing email across in the background while you keep working.
- Switchover. I switch your mail over outside your busy hours. Some new messages can take a few hours to appear while the change takes effect.
- Check and handover. I check that folders and items match, get everyone's Outlook and phones working, and only then retire the old mailboxes.
Most small businesses are moved within 3 to 4 business days of approving the quote.
Questions people ask
Will our email stop working during the switch?
No. Email keeps arriving throughout. On switchover day some new messages can take a few hours to appear in the new account while the change takes effect, which is why I schedule it outside your busy hours.
Could we lose any emails?
Everything is copied before the switch, and I check that folders and items match before going live. Your old mailboxes stay in place until the move is confirmed.
Should I choose Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace?
Both are solid choices. Microsoft 365 suits businesses that live in Outlook, Word and Excel. Google Workspace suits teams that work in Gmail and Google Docs. I set up and migrate to either at the same price, and can help you choose on the first call.
Why move off GoDaddy's Microsoft 365?
GoDaddy resells Microsoft 365 with some admin settings locked down, so you can't manage everything in your own account. Moving to a direct Microsoft 365 subscription gives you full control of your users, security settings and billing.
Do you do this onsite or remotely?
Most of the work is done remotely, so I move email for businesses anywhere in Australia. For businesses in Sydney I can also come onsite to set up computers and phones if that's easier for your team.
