Custom Job Management App
We built a custom PowerApps app for a Sydney trades business to replace a paper-and-text-message job tracking process. Staff log job status from their phone on-site, and the office sees it update in real time, no more chasing updates by phone.
Booking & Enquiry Bot
For an events hire business, we built an automated bot that handles incoming booking enquiries, checks availability, and only hands a conversation to a person once it's actually ready for one, cutting out most of the back-and-forth.

How do I know if I need a custom app or just a better spreadsheet?
If more than one person needs to see the same information at the same time, if it's used out in the field on a phone, or if someone has to manually copy data between two places, that's usually the point a spreadsheet stops being the right tool. PowerApps is Microsoft's platform for building business apps quickly, without the cost and timeline of a fully custom-coded application. For most small and mid-size businesses it's faster to build, easier to maintain, and connects directly to Microsoft 365 tools you likely already pay for.
Can a bot really replace how we currently handle bookings or enquiries?
Not entirely, and it shouldn't try to. The goal is to have the bot handle the repetitive, predictable part (checking availability, gathering details) and hand off to a real person for anything that needs judgement. Done well, it cuts response time without making customers feel like they're talking to a wall.
