Shopify developer in Sydney for small business stores and websites
I build Shopify stores, WordPress sites and custom websites for small businesses across Sydney and the rest of Australia. You deal with me from the first call to launch day, and you get a fixed quote before any work starts.
What I build
Shopify stores
From $1,800
New stores and rebuilds of existing ones. Product setup, collections, payments, shipping rules, Shopify POS if you sell in person, and only the apps you actually need.
WordPress websites
From $2,200
For service businesses that want to update their own pages and posts. Built clean, so it stays fast and doesn't fall over at the next plugin update.
WordPress and WooCommerce stores
From $3,500
An online store inside WordPress, for businesses that want shop and website in one place and full control over both.
Custom websites
From $3,500
Hand built in React and Next.js for businesses that want something faster and more flexible than a template, or need features a page builder can't do.
Every price is confirmed in a fixed quote after a short call, so you know the full cost before anything starts.
What's included in every build
- Design, build and launch
- Domain, hosting and SSL set up properly
- Business email connected, so your mail keeps working when the site goes live
- Basic technical SEO: page titles, descriptions, sitemap and Google Search Console
- A walkthrough at handover so you can edit text, photos and products yourself
How a project runs
- Short call. You tell me what you sell, who buys it, and what isn't working now.
- Fixed quote. A written scope and price. No hourly meter running.
- Build and review. You see the site while it's being built and give feedback before launch.
- Launch and handover. I move the domain, test checkout and forms, and show you how to run it.
A standard Shopify store usually takes 2 to 3 weeks once I have your products and photos.

Questions people ask
Should I use Shopify, WordPress or a custom site?
If selling products online is the main job, Shopify is usually the right call. Payments, stock, shipping and security are handled for you, and it's easy to run day to day. If you're a service business that mostly needs pages, a blog and an enquiry form, WordPress or a custom site fits better. A custom React or Next.js site makes sense when speed matters or you need features a template can't do. I'll tell you which one suits on the first call, including when the cheaper option is the right one.
How much does a Shopify store cost?
My Shopify builds start from $1,800 for a store using a quality theme, set up with your products, payments and shipping. Bigger catalogues, custom design or extra integrations cost more, and you'll know the exact figure from a fixed quote before anything starts. On top of the build, Shopify charges its own monthly plan and payment fees.
Can I update the site myself after launch?
Yes. You get full admin access and a walkthrough at handover covering text, images, products and blog posts, so you don't need to pay a developer for every small change.
Do you handle the domain, hosting and email?
Yes. Because I also do IT and email migration work, I set up the domain, DNS, SSL and business email as part of the build, so your website and email don't break when the site moves.
Do you only work in Sydney?
No. I'm based in the Hills District and work with businesses across Sydney, but website projects run just as well remotely, so I build sites for businesses anywhere in Australia.
